We blend gentle moving Qigong, standing meditation, breath work, and simple seated practices. Most of what I teach comes from the Emei Qigong tradition. Everything is presented in a practical, down-to-earth way—no need to follow any particular belief system to benefit from the practice.

Why Qualified Qigong Instruction Matters
Proper alignment, safe weight shifting, coordinated turning, and relaxed breathing can make a meaningful difference in Qigong practice. Small adjustments in the feet, knees, pelvis, spine, shoulders, and breath can help the body move with greater ease, stability, and connection.
Qualified instruction gives students the personal feedback needed to build a strong foundation, avoid unnecessary strain, and develop safer movement habits from the beginning. With steady guidance, Qigong becomes more comfortable, more effective, and easier to carry into daily life with confidence.

Qigong Online Classes – FAQ
1. I’m a complete beginner. Can I join?
Absolutely.
These classes are designed with beginners in mind. I give clear, step-by-step guidance and offer simpler variations for each movement so you can go at your own pace. No prior experience, special flexibility, or fitness level is required.
2. What style of Qigong and meditation do you teach?
3. How long are the classes, and what do we do?
Most online classes are about 60 minutes.
We begin with a few minutes to arrive and connect with the breath, move into gentle warm-ups to open the joints and relax the body, then continue with the main Qigong practice (forms, flowing movements, or standing meditation), and finish with a brief wrap-up or Q&A.
Our Morning Qigong Fitness Class is about 45 minutes and a bit more active, with wake-up warm-ups, Qigong and Tai Chi–inspired movements for fitness and balance, and a short cool-down and centering.
4. What if I can’t attend live?
If you can’t make it live, recordings are available so you can practice when it fits your schedule, and you still receive the benefits of a steady Qigong routine, even on replay. Class replays are available through the Healing with Qi Practice Library, where you can practice on your own schedule and maintain a steady Qigong routine.
5. What time zone are the live classes in?
All live class times are listed in America/Phoenix Time, USA
6. I’m not very flexible / I have some physical limitations. Is Qigong still ok for me?
In most cases, yes. Qigong is gentle and can be adapted with slower and smaller movements, chair-based options, and the freedom to skip anything that doesn’t feel right. If you have a medical condition or injury, please check with your healthcare provider first and let me know so I can suggest modifications.
7. What do I need to join the online classes?
You’ll just need a stable internet connection, a phone, tablet, or computer, and a little space to stand and move your arms freely. We meet on Zoom, and after you sign up you’ll receive the link and simple instructions to join.
8. What should I wear and bring to class?
Keep it simple—comfortable, loose-fitting clothes you can move in, bare feet or soft shoes, and a water bottle. No special outfit or equipment is needed.
9. How do I sign up and get started?
Click the “Sign Up” / “Book a Class” button below, then check your email for the class link and details. If you have any questions before signing up, please contact Stan.
