Meta-Qi Zhen: Bridging Universal Energy and Acupuncture for Deep Healing
Meta-Qi Zhen is an advanced Emei Qigong healing technique that integrates the principles of universal energy (Qi) and acupuncture to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
This method allows practitioners to activate, refine, and direct Qi, creating a powerful balance between mind, body, and spirit.
At the core of Meta-Qi Zhen is the power of mind intention, aligning with the energy of the seasonal solar point.

By focusing the mind in harmony with nature’s cycles, a deep state of tranquility is achieved, creating the ideal environment for the body's self-healing processes. In this balanced state, Qi and blood flow naturally, fostering physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Emei Level 2 Meta-Qi Zhen Training
The Principles of Meta-Qi Zhen

The foundation of Meta-Qi Zhen is built upon the Meta-Qi Zhen Model, which guides the practice. The Emei practitioner acts as a facilitator, directing Qi or Universal energy, but the energy flows directly through the model—not the practitioner.
This approach focuses on opening the body's key energy centers, known as the Gates and Dantians, using mind intention and alignment with the seasonal solar point.
Acupuncture needles are used to enhance the flow of Qi and promote energetic balance.
In essence, on an energetic level, the person or group becomes the model, and the model becomes them, creating a dynamic and transformative healing experience.
These key energy centers in the body regulate the flow of Qi (vital energy) and support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
The Dantians: Three Primary Energy Centers
Lower Dantian:
(Below the navel) – The body's main Qi reservoir, supporting vitality and foundational energy.
Middle Dantian:
(Heart center) – Governs emotions, balance, and compassion.
Upper Dantian
(Upper forehead)– Connects to intuition, wisdom, and spiritual awareness.

In Qigong, the Gates are Deep Energy Centers That Serve as Key Access Points for Qi (Vital Energy) to Flow Through the Body
These Gates help regulate, store, and distribute Qi, playing a crucial role in energy cultivation, healing, and spiritual development. By activating and opening these gates, practitioners can enhance their overall health, increase energy circulation, and deepen their Qigong practice.
Some of the Key Gates Used in Meta-Qi Zhen
Baihui – Crown Gate/Heavens's Door
Located at the top of the head (GV-20).
Connects to higher consciousness and spiritual energy.
Used for gathering cosmic Qi and calming the mind.
Mingmen– Life Gate
Located on the lower back, opposite the navel (GV-4).
A key center for storing and activating deep vitality (Kidney Qi).
Strengthens core energy and longevity.
Yongquan– Bubbling Spring Gate
Located on the soles of the feet (KD-1).
Connects the body to Earth’s grounding energy.
Supports balance, stability, and Qi circulation.
The Practitioner can also add acupuncture points to the model to support the flow of energy to specific areas. This structured approach enhances health, energy flow, and spiritual connection.
